The device for purification of technological wastewater generated from the fish processing plant was delivered in 2016. and has a capacity of 15 m3/day. The device is designed based on the assumed characteristics of technological wastewater, which are:
- COD: 4000 mg/l
- BOD5: 2500 mg/l
Based on the experience in the treatment of technological wastewater in the food industry, a treatment plant based on the DAF technology described in point 1.1.1 was delivered.
Technological wastewater gravitationally reaches the PP pumping shaft and is further pumped to a semi-automatic sieve which serves as a pre-treatment by which the water is cleaned of solid waste. The mechanically treated wastewater goes to DAF flotation.
The resulting sludge is transferred to a sludge tank built of PP, and the purified water goes to the receiving tank and is then transported to the city purifier.
If the input parameters of technological wastewater correspond to the given input values, the following output parameters are guaranteed:
- BOD5: ≤ 250 mg O2/l
- COD: ≤ 700 mg O2/l
