The device was delivered in 2010., with a capacity of 6 m3/day and is used for the treatment of technological wastewater generated during the production of natural juices. The device purifies the water to the level of the required parameters for the discharge of water into the public sewer system, shown in Table 7.

The device is based on SBR (Sequencing batch reactor) technology for the treatment of technological wastewater using activated sludge. The device consists of an equalization tank into which the waste water is released free of solid particles larger than 5 mm.
In an equalization tank made of PP, wastewater is mixed using an electric mixer. Using a pH probe in the equalization tank, the pH value is measured and corrected to a neutral value if necessary. Nutrients (nitrogen and phosphorus) are added to the water to feed the microorganisms in the second tank (SBR reactor) into which the water is introduced after equalization and neutralization. SBR purifier technology is described in section 1.1.2.
