Treatment of Industrial Water

Waste water in the food industry is highly loaded with waste substances. In most waste water in food industry are present dissolved substances that are biologically easily degradable. In the case when there is a presence of hardly biodegradable biological compound, it is necessary to carry out chemical oxidation in order to degradate these compounds. Device for waste water treatment plant uses a combination of more methods: mechanical grid or sieve to remove solid impurities from waste water. Physical-chemical treatment uses the flotation device for removing substances from waste water, that would disturb the biological process with prior dosing of required chemical, coagulants and flocculants.
A sequential batch reactor (SBR) is in use for biological process, and if necessary, a membrane biological reactor (MBR).
The resulting sludge from the biological reactor and the flotation device, is collected in a sludge tank and it is draining through a spiral dehydrator. Mass of sludge is reducing several times, and can be easily further processed or disposed. The treated water has sufficient criteria to exit to the recipient of the 2. category watercourses. Guaranteed parameters are BOD5 25 mg/l and COD 100 mg/l.
