The device for purification of technological wastewater from the fish processing process was delivered in 2012., with a capacity of 50 m3/day. Technological wastewater treatment is based on DAF technology.
The principle of DAF technology is described in point 1.1.1., with the difference of mechanical pre-treatment that is combined on this device (there is no difference and division into fine and coarse pre-treatment). The purified water goes from the reactor of the flotation device to the collection-separation shaft, and part of the water goes to the biological purifier.
The biological treatment plant works with the technology of submerged biomass carriers with a continuous flow of wastewater. In the tank of the biological reactor, which is made of wall polypropylene elements and is installed underground, there is a submerged carrier of biomass that is attached to the bottom of the tank. The carrier is made of polypropylene in the form of a net and colonies of microorganisms are attached to it, which perform biological wastewater treatment. Below the biomass carrier, there are membrane aerators through which air is blown into the wastewater at intervals by means of a blower located in the equipment container. Biologically treated wastewater gravitationally goes to the buffer tank.
The sludge separated on the flotation device gravitationally goes to the sludge distributor where the sludge thickens.
The control unit controls all electrical devices (sensors, motors, pumps). The process of wastewater treatment process takes place completely automatically. On the display of the control unit it is possible to read which device is currently active, the operating time of individual devices and the error or alarm message. According to the input hydraulic load, the control unit has the possibility of switching the wastewater treatment process to the saving mode (lower electricity consumption).
