The technological wastewater treatment plant from the winery was delivered in 2017., and has a capacity of 50 PE (population equivalent). The device is based on a continuous biological process of purification of ASP (eng. Activated sludge process). Wastewater gravitationally enters the primary precipitator of the device where all sedimentary particles are deposited. After that, the water goes to the reactor where the purification takes place using microorganisms. In the secondary precipitator, the water separates from the sludge and falls to the bottom, and the water is discharged into the natural recipient. Excess sludge is transferred to the primary clarifier.
The device works automatically and does not require continuous monitoring, but periodic control:

- sludge height measurement
- sludge removal
