The use of innovative technology ensures a very efficient and sustainable paint removal process developed for removing paint from hooks, brackets, rims, aluminum profiles. The robust system is compatible with ferrous and light metals (aluminum, zinc).
The paint removal technology is perfectly adapted as an internal alternative to common paint removal techniques such as combustion, sandblasting and pyrolysis, leaving the substrate ready for post-processing, allowing re-painting or reworking of parts without further processing.
The device consists of the required number of tubs depending on the capacity of the production plant (working basin, rinsing basin, and squeezing basin), rectangular shape, freestanding, and made of polypropylene (PP), a material that is resistant to chemicals and does not require additional corrosion protection. Below the basin is a security tank.
The working basin is used for removing paint and there are immersion heaters in it, which raise the temperature of the chemical to the operating temperature. When made with a sloping bottom and a total drain, and insulated with rock wool to reduce heat loss, it is also equipped with a lid to prevent splashing and reduce chemical evaporation. There are high-speed two-propeller mixers (located diagonally in the tub) that increase the efficiency of paint removal by intensive chemical mixing.
In order to extend the life of the chemical, the working basin is also equipped with a filtration pump that separates the impurities formed in the process from the chemical by passing it through a filter press and thus increases the efficiency of the device. The heaters are protected from dry operation by a probe immersed in the working bath and do not allow the heater to be switched on if there is not enough chemical in the bath.
On the bathtub there is a pipeline for suction of steam above the liquid, the air goes through the droplet separator where the liquid droplets are retained and go into the technological wastewater. After that, the air is blown into the environment by a fan.
The rinsing basin is used for rinsing the parts from which the paint is removed by immersing it in clean water. When also made with a sloping bottom and a total drain.
The squeezing basin is actually a container used to squeeze the finished parts after treatment and rinsing.
The device is controlled from the control cabinet, where the operating temperature of the active basin is set and includes heaters, filtration, and chemical mixing. The cabinet also has low chemical warnings and warnings to turn off chemical mixing and filtration.
