SBR plants are one of option of biological WWTP with aeration, in conformity with European norm EN 12566-3, and the second part of DIN 4261. They are used for treating communal waste water for: small hotels, restaurants and objects with variable hydraulic load.

FUNCTION PRINCIPLE
Water Treatment in SBR unit is process of 3 cycles per day, and 4 phases per cycles.
Phases are:
- Admission of waste water in SBR reactor. Waste water from pre-treated part flows in SBR reactor.
- Aeration
One immersed blower supplies the needed quantity of oxygen for micro organisms. That micro organisms converting agents from waste water in sludge. - Sedimentation
In the phase of sedimentation stops air enriching with oxygen and sludge is precipitate on the bottom of the unit. - Sew of percolation water, outlet – treated water, by air pump goes out of unit and after that starts new cycles.
Every cycle lasts 8 hours, 3 cycles per day. Formed active sludge is pumped in primary settlement tank and if is necessary, together with sludge from primary settlement tank, going to neutralise. For filling we are using sludge pumps of SBR reactor.
