The mechanically pre-treated water is aerated, biologically treated and later, due to membranes, cleaned of all solid substances bigger than the size of membrane pores, which are 0.000035 mm. The quality of the outlet water is very high. Due to the membrane properties it is possible to remove viruses, bacteria, colloids, proteins, etc. The water can be reused for washing cars, watering plants, etc.<br \/>\nThe devices according to capacity are:<br \/>\n\u2022 BP ASP K ULTRA \u2013 waste water treatment plant used for treating waste waters of the family houses, small companies, hotels with the capacity up to 25 PE, etc.<br \/>\n\u2022 BP ASP N ULTRA \u2013 used for treating communal waste waters for hotels, small villages, factories with the capacity up to 1,000 PE.<br \/>\nFor one population equivalent (PE) the estimated amount of wastewater is 150 l per day and the BOD5 is 60g per day, which is in conformity with the European norm EN 12566-3 and 12255. Sedimenting and floating impurities are caught here and are further subjected to anaerobic decomposition . The mechanically pre-treated water overflows into the activation area where there is a microfiltration module. The activation area is used for the biological treatment of wastewater and microfiltration through membranes. This area is fitted in the bottom part with an aeration system which serves for the aeration of the tank and for cleaning of the membranes.<\/p>\n<p>A blower is used to supply the air for the system. The advantage of this type of WWTP VARIOcomp Ultra is the accumulation area inside the whole activation tank which is used for the accumulation of wastewater and solids from the treatment plant. The activated mixture is filtrated under pressure through the membranes. In case the module for membrane filtration is out of order, the mixture flows into a vertical secondary settlement tank where the sludge sediments, and subsequently, the treated water flows to outlet. Condensed sludge from the bottom part of the secondary settlement tank returns to the sludge tank.
