Processing is done through hot processing of fruits and vegetables and products are obtained: compotes, jams, marmalades, salads, ajvar. The difference compared to the previously described technology is mechanical pretreatment. The entire mechanical pre-treatment plant combines a pool that is divided into four sedimentation tanks, in the first there is a sedimentation of solid particles, and the second has the function of a pump shaft. Water from the pre-pumping shaft is pumped onto a fine rotary drum sieve by means of which coarse suspended particles larger than 1 mm are separated (Figure 8). The waste thus separated is collected in a communal bin. The mechanically purified water goes gravitationally to the third chamber. The bottom of the pool is sloped and equipped with a submersible pump for removing the precipitated sludge and sends it for thickening by means of filter bags by gravity.
