The device consists of an equalization tank into which the waste water is released free of solid particles larger than 5 mm.<\/p>\n<p>In an equalization tank made of PP, wastewater is mixed using an electric mixer. Using a pH probe in the equalization tank, the pH value is measured and corrected to a neutral value if necessary. Nutrients (nitrogen and phosphorus) are added to the water to feed the microorganisms in the second tank (SBR reactor) into which the water is introduced after equalization and neutralization.
