The purification technology is based on a physico &#8211; chemical process in combination with biological purification.<\/p>\n<p>Technological wastewater is collected in an equalization tank where it is mixed by means of an aeration system, equalizing pollution concentrations and preventing hydraulic shocks during the day. The water from the equalization tank is pumped into a tubular mixer where the pH value is regulated. Water from the pipe mixer enters the physico &#8211; chemical rector where the flocculant, polyelectrolyte and dehydration improver are dosed. After flocculation, the water goes to a filter press where the dehydrated sludge is separated and collected in a tank under the press, and the purified water is drained to an MBBR reactor.<\/p>\n<p>Air is injected into the MBBR reactor by means of a compressor, thus aerating the air and mixing the floating biomass carriers. The resulting sludge is precipitated in the reactor, and the excess sludge is drained to the filter press if necessary. The treated water is drained to the manhole where it is connected to the municipal wastewater and drained into the sewer.<\/p>\n<p>The entire process wastewater treatment plant works automatically and is controlled via a PLC (Figure 7).
